Adams Cable Equipment is pleased to announce that we offer a screen and clean service for all makes and models of cable modems, EMTAs, and wireless gateways. If you have modems, EMTAs or gateways that have been returned from customers but need updates, power supplies, or just a good scrubbing, please let us know. We will pick up your field returned modems and receive them at our centrally located warehouse in Lenexa, KS. Our location is fully insured, protected by security and fire monitoring, and is a 3-day transit point from nearly anywhere in the United States.
Once the modems arrive in our warehouse, they will be staged for processing. All units will be tested on our state-of-the-art Promptlink testing system. All features of the modem, EMTA, or gateway will be tested and the version of firmware that you need will be installed.
The units will be cleaned by our staff members and then rekitted according to your system’s needs. We can offer power supplies, Ethernet patch cables, individual labeling, and many other options. The units are then repackaged individually and shipped in boxes of 15 or 10 (depending on model) and shipped back to you. The units that fail testing can either be returned to the system or recycled by Adams Cable Equipment. Our current lead time for processing of screen and clean is 14 days from the time that the modems are picked up.
